Lush Tea Tree Toner Water Review

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water

I’ve been wanting to try out Lush’s skincare range for such a long time. I’m a massive fan of their bath bombs and shower gels and use them all the time, but for some reason I never tried any Lush skincare products. This was until a few weeks ago when I came across their tea tree toner water. I tried it out in the store and absolutely loved the smell of it and I’m a fan of tea tree products anyway so I thought it was definitely worth trying out.

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water

Lush says “Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and helps keep skin clean and clear. Use any time of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup or cleanser”.

It’s always a risk trying out a new skincare product and I’m pleased to say I really like this toner. I have been using it in morning before putting my makeup on and in the evening after taking my makeup off. I like the fact that it’s in a spray bottle, it makes it so quick and easy to apply. I normally just close my eyes, spray over my face and then wipe with a cotton pad, but you could also spray directly onto a cotton pad and then wipe the face.

Each time I use this my skin feels amazing after. It feels so clean and fresh and I often notice it wipes away final bits of makeup that my makeup remover must have missed. On the bottle it says this is most appropriate for oily or spot prone skin. I have combination skin so often suffer with oily-ness at times. This toner definitely gets rid of the oily feeling on my face after using it. I also love that it has antibacterial and antiseptic ingredients in it as you know it is really cleaning your skin properly.

I can't think of any negative thing to say about this toner. I have been using it everyday now for around a month and I've still got about half the bottle left. It costs £8.50 which I think is really reasonable and I'll definitely be repurchasing. I would recommend this to anyone with oily or combination skin, but probably not to those with very dry or sensitive skin as I imagine the tea tree could sting and it might be too drying.

Have you tried this Lush tea tree water? What's your favourite toner water?
