Boots Natural Collection Makeup Review

Natural Collection Makeup Review

A couple of months ago I was sent such a cute little package from Boots featuring some products from the Natural Collection makeup range. I haven't tried any Natural Collection makeup except for a lip gloss years ago so I was really excited to see what it was like as I absolutely love trying out new makeup.

Natural Collection Lipstick in the shade Berry Sorbet

First up is this lipstick in the shade 'Berry Sorbet' from the range of Moisture Shine lipsticks. When I first saw this I really wasn't expecting much. Although it is a lovely berry shade, I'm not usually a fan of moisturising lipstick formulas as they tend to always just rub off the lips and are never very pigmented. I was pleasantly surprised when I used this for the first time, the pigmentation is much stronger than I thought it would be and it leaves such a lovely dark pink/redish colour on the lips. As expected, the staying power isn't great, it doesn't last that long once applied but this is always the case for this lipstick formula. It is so moisturising which is just perfect if you have dry lips. The best thing of all about this lipstick is that it retails at just £1.99! They do many other shades as well so I will definitely be looking at getting a couple more at that price.

Natural Collection lip liner in the shade Plum

Next up is this lip liner in the shade 'Plum'. I am a massive fan of lip liners so I was pretty confident I was going to love this and I definitely do. It is such a pretty deep red/purple shade which has been absolutely perfect for the Winter months, I have used it so much already. The staying power is pretty impressive and it also retails at £1.99 - amazing! This is probably my favourite item from this collection.

Natural Collection black mascara

This lovely package also included a mascara which again I wasn't expecting much from being only £1.99. It's definitely not the best mascara in the world, but for this price it is not bad at all. It needs quite a few layers applied to get the strong black effect that I usually go for, but once achieved I like how it looks and it lasts well. If you don't want to splash out and are looking for a cheaper mascara I definitely would recommend this one.

Natural Collection pink blusher

The last item included is this lovely pink blusher and guess what? It's also only £1.99! As soon as I saw this I fell in love, this shade of bright, girly pink is the kind of shade I always go for. I am a big fan of this blusher, it is a lovely creamy powder which is completely matte when applied. I have used this so many times already and I'm sure I'll be using it even more when summer arrives, as you can't beat a lovely bright pink blush during the summer months.

Natural Collection colouring pencils
Also included in this Natural Collection package was these colouring pencils and a really pretty design to colour in with them. I thought this was such a lovely touch from Natural Collection to send these along with the makeup, it gives it a little something extra. Unfortunately I haven't got around to colouring it in yet as I just don't have the patience for things like that - but I'd definitely like to try it soon!

As you can probably tell, I am really impressed with these Natural Collection products and I'm completely shocked how good the quality is considering everything they sell retails at £1.99. Massive thank you to Boots for sending these for me to try, I can most definitely say I will be purchasing myself a couple more of the lip liners and possibly the lipsticks too very soon!

Have you tried anything from Natural Collection? What do you think of this brand?
