Top 10 Beauty Products of 2014

I love reading 'favourites from 2014' posts as it's so interesting to see what items everyone has been loving over the year. It also always gives me ideas of new things I must try out as if it has a place in someones favourites then it must be good! I was excited to do a post like this, there are so many new beauty products I have discovered in 2014 and now cannot live without. These 10 are my favourite beauty products of 2014 and they are all items I would definitely repurchase when they run out.
Face

1. MAC Cream Colour Base in 'Hush' - £15.50. Hush is a multi purpose cream highlighter which can be used for highlighting any areas you want and can be used on bare skin or over foundation. This is one of my favourites from 2014 as I have found myself reaching for it on so many occasions, I love the colour it gives and the cream formula makes it so easy and quick to apply with fingers. 2. The Body Shop All-In-One Face Base - £14. I am so happy I have discovered this powder, it is definitely the best face powder I have ever used and not surprisingly I use this everyday on top of my foundation. It can be used alone as a foundation itself, but I prefer the extra coverage. It gives such a nice matte finish and is great for touch ups throughout the day as it comes with a handy sponge and mirror. (Full review here)

3. Bourjois Bronzer - £7.99. This bronzer has been so popular for years and I can't believe it took me so long to purchase it. I find myself reaching for this everyday, it gives a prefect daytime colour which only a slight shimmer and it smells absolutely amazing! (Full review here)

4. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer - £25. I got this primer as a free sample from Boots and I loved it straight away! I will most likely be buying the full size soon and I can see exactly why it is a best seller product. It glides onto the skin so easily and leaves it feeling so silky and soft. It really helps minimise pores as soon as its applied and I find myself needing less foundation after applying this. It is oil free and really does a great job at keeping my foundation in place all day.

5. MAC Matchmaster Foundation - £28. I have been using this foundation for awhile now and it is by far my favourite of all time. I put off repurchasing it for awhile because of the cost, but I do think is is definitely worth the price tag. Is it very matte and perfect for oily skin. (Full review here)

Lips

6. MAC Lipstick 'Sandy B' - £15.50.  I received this lipstick as a present for finishing university back in May 2014 and since then I have used it so much, it has become a must have product in my handbag when I go anywhere. This is because the colour is so versatile, I have found it goes with almost every outfit and is a perfect day time shade. (Full review here)

7. No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick 'Cameo' - £9.95. This is the second lipstick which now lives in my handbag. I love it because it is so moisturising and great to apply to dry lips which I often have. It provides a gorgeous pink shade which is subtle so it is perfect for everyday wear. (Full review here).

Eyes

8. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - £37. I got this palette a few months ago and since then I have pretty much reached for it everyday when doing my makeup in the morning, so it definitely had to feature in this post. The colours are just gorgeous and you can create so many different looks with it, I never get bored of it! I also find it is perfect for travelling when I go away for weekends as the packaging is strong and it has a mirror and a great double ended brush with it. (Full review here).

9. Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara - £19.50. I bought this in duty free at the start of summer and I have been using it most days since - I love this mascara so much! It gives such good results with just one quick coat on the eyelashes and I really like the plastic brush that comes with it. I have almost run out of this now and will definitely be repurchasing it. Although I am not a fan of the big price tag, I have to say it is definitely worth it. (Full review here).

10. Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner - £5.29. Throughout the year I have started to wear liquid eyeliner more often during the day and this Rimmel eyeliner is perfect. I love the thin brush, it makes it so easy to apply a thin neat line on the eyelid when you don't want too much during the day. It lasts really well though out the day and isn't too much effort to remove which some liquid eyeliners can be. I bought this particular one mainly because of the reasonable price and I am so glad I have found an eyeliner I love at a good price, I definitely recommend this!
That's all my top 10 beauty products from 2014. Writing this post has just reminded me of how much I love them all and I'm sure I will carry on loving them all throughout 2015! Do you like any of these products? Have you got any 2014 favourites posts?
