Benefit Minis

On my latest venture into Boots I noticed all the Christmas gift sets are back and how amazing they all looked (so exciting!) Anyway, whist browsing I spotted a little table with all different mini Benefit products on it. I then spotted that they were only £5 each, or four for £15! This seemed such a great deal for Benefit products, considering the price for the full size versions of these are around £20 each. Obviously I couldn't step away from this bargain and spent the next 15 minutes trying to choose which four minis I wanted.

From left to right..

1. High Beam - I used to have high beam and ever since it ran out I have wanted to repurchase it again. High beam is a light pink, shimmery liquid highlighter and comes in a bottle much like nail varnish with an applicator brush in the lid. I apply this onto my cheekbones and brow bones by using the brush to place little dots in the area I want it and then blend it. Despite it being quite a light colour it blends into the skin so well, leaving a lovely sheer and dewy finish.

2. Benetint - This is one of those products from Benefit I have always wanted to try but haven't been able to justify spending the money on it, so when I saw this mini version I thought it was a great opportunity to try it out. Benetint is a rose coloured cheek and lip tint and has the same nail varnish type bottle as High Beam. I have been applying this by drawing two equal, parallel lines with the brush onto the centre of my cheeks and then blending in with my fingers. This works great to add a lovely natural looking rosy colour to the cheeks but you do have to blend it in very quickly! I have also used this a couple of times on my lips to add a quick pop of colour if I'm in a rush and it works great for this.

3. Porefessional - I have never actually purchased a full sized Porefessional but I have had a few samples in the past and I absolutely love it. This is a primer which can be applying alone or under makeup to help your makeup stay in place all day and minimise the appearance of pores. Porefessional is oil free and as soon as it is applied it leaves a wonderful matte finish, which is perfect  if you have oily or combination skin. It does a really good job at minimising pores and making the skin look smoother and I have been applying this under my foundation which really helps my makeup stay on all day. I think this is my favourite out of all these minis as this small bottle goes such a long way and for £5 it is great value.

4. Boi-ing and Eye Bright -  I first came across Boi-ing when I had my eyebrows waxed in Benefit and they used it to cover up the redness. From this moment I was really impressed at how well it can cover up any discolouration or imperfections, but I haven't actually bought it as I think £17.50 is quite expensive for a concealer. So when I saw this mini version I was very excited (I did almost pick up two of these!). I use Boi-ing underneath my foundation when I have any visible spots or redness and it works wonders.

I have only ever seen Eye Bright in the pencil form so I was excited to see it alongside Boi-ing. This is a light pink creamy formula which I have been applying underneath and around my eyes where any dark circles may appear. It does an incredible job at opening up the eyes which is exactly what I need in the early mornings before work when I am sometimes looking rather sleepy!

I honestly think each one of these Benefit mini versions are such good value at £5 each, I can see them lasting awhile and offering four for £15 just makes it even better. So get down to Boots quick if you are tempted by this deal! There were other minis to choose from as well :)

What do you think of the mini products I chose? Have you tried any of these?
