Lush 'No Drought' Dry Shampoo

Lush 'No Drought' Dry Shampoo- £3.75

I am a big fan of Lush and my latest purchase from there is this dry shampoo. What first drew me to this is that it is in powder form rather than a spray, as I have not seen anything like this before. The best way I find to use this is to place the amount you want in the palm of your hand, rub it into both hands, massage into the scalp area, and then brush out any excess.

I know some darker haired people struggle with white coloured dry shampoo as you can see it in the hair, so I cannot say what it would be like if you do have darker hair, but I can say that for those like me with lighter hair it blends in really well and residue cannot be seen. As for whether it works or not, I can honestly say it does a very good job. I can notice an instant difference as soon as I apply this on my hair, it looks fresher and cleaner.

My favourite thing about this dry shampoo is without a doubt the smell! You can always rely on Lush products to smell absolutely amazing and this doesn't disappoint!  It contains grapefruit oil and lime oil which is a wonderful combination. This leaves the hair not only looking noticeably fresher but also smelling so refreshing and lovely.

Another great thing about this is that this little bottle lasts absolutely forever. I have been using it about every other day for a month now and I'm not even a quarter of the way through. This is a great bonus for me, as I often find I run out of the dry shampoo sprays so quickly which is always disappointing as they are never cheap. So, with this being £3.75 a bottle it is great value. It is also great for travelling as it is very light, small and therefore easy to pack.

The only down side about this dry shampoo is that it is quite messy. It has a tendency to go everywhere when you are putting it into your hands/hair. Although I have noticed it is quite easy to clean up and can be rubbed off clothes easily so this is not too much of a problem.

Have you tried this dry shampoo? What do you think? Are there any other dry shampoos in powder form you know of?
