Superdrug Own Brand- Dry Shampoo

When it comes to dry shampoo, until recently I have always sworn Batiste. I have tried a few others including Boots own, and some of the more expensive brands- but I have never been that impressed as they usually seem rather over priced and never as good as Batiste.

However, for some reason a few weeks ago, I decided to purchase Superdrug's own brand of dry shampoo. There was an offer on at the time, and it seemed very tempting instead of paying full price of Batiste!

I am really glad I made this spur of the moment choice, I am so impressed with the two dry shampoos I chose. The packaging is great, I think it gives it a feel of a higher end product and not a Superdrug own brand. More importantly, the quality is extremely good for the price. They retail at £2.29, but are currently on offer on the Superdrug website for £1.14!

Golden Goddess

First, I purchased the 'Golden Goddess' for blondes. I love dry shampoo specific to hair colour, as it freshens up without leaving any white powder or residue showing, it is a nice blonde colour instead! This shade dramatically minimised the greasiness of my hair with only a few sprays all over, and helped hide the look of my darker roots really well.

'Killer Volume'

The second dry shampoo I chose to buy was the 'Killer Volume'. I always look for ways to add volume to my hair as it is quite flat so I thought this would be a good one to try. This is definitely my favourite out of the two, it really does add volume very well. I sprayed this on the roots of my hair and I could instantly see a difference. It almost has the effect of a mild hairspray, it keeps the hair in place and also reminds me a bit of the 'Got2b Volumizing Powder'. I really am so impressed with this dry shampoo, I even use it on my hair now even when it isn't greasy, just for the wonderful voluming effect!

So, as you can tell I really recommend both these dry shampoos, and I will definitely be purchasing them again. It is such a good price and great quality.

Has anyone else tried Superdrug's dry shampoos? Are there any others you recommend?
