Burt's Bees Collection

(From left to right)

I think Burt's Bees has quickly become my favourite brand for lip products. Ever since I received the four products above as a free gift for signing up to a Glamour magazine subscription a few months ago I have been hooked and amazed by these. I feel so lucky I got these products and I'm not going to lie I think it was the main reason I signed up for the Glamour subscription in the first place.... (make up addict problems)

Until I had these products I had only ever tried a basic lip balm from Burt's Bees and although I loved this I wasn't aware they had such a big range of lip products, and now that I have discovered this I can't wait to try more!

1. Tinted Lip Balm 'Hibiscus'- I love love love lip balms at all times of the year as I always seem to suffer with dry lips. There is always a couple of lip balms in my handbag at one time, I'd feel lost without them. Until this product, surprisingly I had never actually tried a tinted lip balm. Now that I have I can see what I've been missing! This tinted gives you the same wonderful moisturising effect of a normal lip balm, with a gorgeous pink/ coral tint as an added bonus. It is proving to be great for work, when I don't have a lot of time to think about choosing and applying lipsticks throughout the day, I can just turn to this to give my lips some subtle colour and care throughout the day.

2. Lip Shimmer 'Apricot'- This product is actually my favourite out of all four. It is very moisturising to the lips as well as providing a lovely subtle golden/ bronze shimmer. It also smells absolutely amazing. The colour is called apricot, but it is a refreshing peppermint flavour. This lip shimmer is made with Vitamin E, beeswax and oils, so it is just pure goodness for your lips.

3. Lipgloss 'Ocean Sunrise'- This lipgloss has such a gorgeous formula, it is really thick, creamy and despite this it is easy to apply and doesn't build up or clump on the lips. As you can see it the picture, it is a pale pink with a gorgeous shimmer in it. The only downside about this product is that it smells a bit like plastic, but this isn't a strong smell so doesn't matter too much.

4. Lip Shine 'Wink'-  Lastly is this lip shine, it is similar to the lip gloss above, but a slightly less creamy formula and a deeper pink colour. It is so glossy and shiny on the lips, providing a really healthy looking rose colour and it smells so lovely a fruity (you may just want to lick it off!). It also isn't sticky at all which is great as many lip glosses can be and contains nourishing apricot wax.

That's all of my Burt's Bees collection as it stands, and writing this post has definitely made me realise how much I love this brand of lip products even more. All of the products I have mentioned come in a wide range of colours on the website and I can't wait to expand my collection and try many more!

What do you think of Burt's Bees? Have you tried any of these products? Do you have any you recommend?
